Updates From Steve Wariner

Hi Everyone,

As usual, I’m running behind here..(reminds me of my song, “Hands of Time”). I sure hope your year is off to a great start. THANK YOU all so much for the thoughtful gifts and cards over the holidays. I really appreciate you thinking of me and my family.

Early January I played a very special show for a wonderful organization. It was a writers night for Alive Hospice at the Bluebird Cafe.  I shared the stage with host Kent Blazy, Cory Batten and Brice Long to sing our songs, raise money and awareness for Alice Hospice. Those folks are true saints. Definitely a night to remember!

There are some big things planned for this year — one of those being the release of my new custom Gretsch guitar - The Steve Wariner Nashville Gentleman. Let me tell you, I am SO proud! I've been working the last year and a half with Gretsch to create this fantastic instrument that I’m sure guitarists of every genre will love. Here’s a really, really cool thing my buddy Bobby Tomberlin and I just did. We were given access to Ms. Dottie West’s personal journal from the 60’s! We took some incredible ideas and lines she had started, and finished the song 50 plus years later! It was such an honor to actually co-write with Dottie in 2018! And how about this: The legendary Jeannie Seely just recorded it for her new album! Nothing could be so perfect since they were very best friends. Be on the lookout for that soon!

I'm excited to head back to the Opry on Saturday, February 16th. I'm looking forward to hitting the stage alongside my pal Clint Black, Michael Ray, Carly Pearce, and many more! Get your tickets HERE
