#WarinerWednesday
Hello everyone -
Hope you're well during this very challenging time for all of us. A few weeks ago, many of our friends in the Nashville and Middle Tennssee area were affected by the March 3 tornadoes that leveled so many homes, businesses and venues. Thankfully, the tornadoes didn't come near our house, but just as our community was recovering, the COVID-19 coronavirus forced all of us into quarantine. So, we've moved our previously announced dates to this fall. I listed those below.
I’d like to take moment to remember entertainment icon and friend, Kenny Rogers, who passed away over the weekend. Hearing his voice sing MY lyrics, my music, to ‘I’m Missing You,’ was definitely a highlight. When KR sang that song, he OWNED it. What a talent and what a sweet man. Kenny, you certainly made this world a better place. Rest In Peace my friend.
Since we're all stuck in the house, I thought it would be fun to do some LIVE streaming from my home studio. We're calling it Wariner Wednesday and the first one will be at 7:00pCST on my Facebook page THIS Wednesday, March 25. Hope you'll tune in!
American Songwriter also reached out to us to jump on their Instagram LIVE this Wednesday at 6:00pCST, so be sure to tune in. Here's their Insta handle:instagram.com/americansongwriter
I also wanted to congratulate our dear friend Rhonda Vincent who was recently invited to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. I performed the night Jeannie Seely asked her to be part of the family and Rhonda was so overwhelmed with joy. Congratulations to Rhonda!
